Your sale now complete, you can hopefully begin to celebrate! Remember though, the sold sign will only appear when all conditions in the agreement have been fulfilled and your Agreement becomes firm and binding.

You now need to:

- Begin looking for your new home if you have not already started and finished that process.

- Start packing.

- Cooperate with your REALTOR® in selecting the Lawyer who will represent you in closing your sale transaction (your REALTOR® can recommend several reputable firms).

- Contact your Lawyer to set up a convenient time to meet to discuss your legal obligations in assisting with the transaction.


Move-in Day

While the moving day is a labourious day, you need to ensure the home’s condition is as you saw it last. This means there is no apparent damage and that all items that were included in the sale are present and accounted for. If for any reason you feel the home’s condition or inclusions are lacking, you need to inform your REALTOR® or Lawyer immediately.
